Allocation Process
Applications for hosting medical students in academic year 2025-26 have now closed.
Currently QUB and UU have different processes for becoming a host practice and being allocated students. You can review the process for allocations for 2025-26 by following the links on this page. We recommend keeping an eye on our “News” items where we will add information as it becomes available for the next academic year.
If you are not currently a medical student teaching practice, we can talk to you about how you can become one, and ensure your email address is shared with the relevant medical school. Please get in touch via our contact page.
If you have been hosting students from one medical school and wish to gain more information about future opportunities in the other, please contact us and we are happy to discuss this further. Understanding what the commitment is per year group in terms of sessions, attachment duration, mandatory assessments and time of year can be useful in finding a good fit for your practice.
